Laura L. Carter

SVP, Biology at Lycera

Laura L. Carter is the SVP of Biology at Lycera. Laura has held this position since April 2013. Prior to that, they were the Scientific Director at Medimmune from January 2011 to April 2013. Before that, they were a Sr Group Leader at Array BioPharma from May 2007 to December 2010. Laura began their career as a Principal Scientist II at Wyeth Research from January 1999 to December 2007. Laura then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Washington University School of Medicine from January 1997 to December 1999. Laura began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Trudeau Institute from January 1996 to December 1997.

Ms. Carter attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as an undergraduate, where they majored in Biology. Laura then went on to earn their PhD in Immunology from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.

They are on a team with Peter L. Toogood - SVP, Chemistry & Chemical Biology, H. Jeffrey Wilkins - Chief Medical Officer, and Joann Scatina - SVP, Preclinical Development. Laura L. Carter reports to Alex G. Howarth, President.
