Betty M.

Betty M. is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in sociology and human services. Since July 2004, Betty has served as an Associate Professor of Sociology at Lycoming College, where courses taught include Social Stratification, Aging, Medical Sociology, Mental Health and Illness, Immigration, and Methods. Additionally, Betty collaborates with community organizations on initiatives such as board training, fundraising, and capacity building. Prior to this role, Betty was a Visiting Professor at Whitman College from August 2002 to May 2004. Betty holds a PhD and MA in Sociology from Vanderbilt University, an MS in Gerontology from Baylor University, and a BS in Sociology from Lamar University.
