Samantha Mahaffey

Samantha Mahaffey has a range of work experience starting from 2007. Samantha began by working as a Barista at Starbucks, where they handled customer service, operated the register, and fulfilled various responsibilities. Samantha later worked as a Student Manager at Lycoming College, a Marketing Intern at Affiniton, and a Corporate Trainer at Linked-In Marketing Inc. In 2013, Samantha started working at Lewis Vet Clinic as a Veterinarian Receptionist, where they greeted clients, scheduled appointments, answered calls, and managed payments. Concurrently, they worked at Little League International as a Liability Coordinator and later as a Security Manager. Their responsibilities included managing security and coordinating liability matters. Samantha then transitioned to Players Health in 2022, where they held the role of Investigations Manager. Their responsibilities included reviewing and collecting incident reports, conducting policy reviews, communicating with clients, and overseeing a team of investigators. In 2023, Samantha joined Lycoming College as a Project Director to Reduce Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Stalking.

Samantha Mahaffey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Communication and Business Administration from Lycoming College in 2012. In 2017, they completed a Master of Science in Security Administration with a focus on Risk Management and Security Administration from Southwestern College. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in areas such as anti-terrorism, child abuse prevention, emergency planning, leadership, incident command systems, and enterprise risk management.
