Anil Perera

Anil Perera is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in the design of mineral sands and processing plants. Currently serving as Lead Structural Engineer at Lycopodium since October 2025, Anil's prior roles include Lead Engineer - Structural at DRA Global and Senior Structural Engineer at Mineral Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed structural engineering design for various mineral projects globally. Anil's expertise has been further honed through positions at reputable firms such as GR Engineering Services Ltd, Maranoa Regional Council, Calibre Consulting, AMEC, Ausenco, and Laing O'Rourke. Anil holds advanced degrees in Structural Engineering and Environmental Engineering from UNSW and the Asian Institute of Technology, respectively, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
