Olav Mejia, MASc, P.Eng., currently serves as the Manager of Process Engineering-Americas at Lycopodium since January 2023, leading various projects such as the Bamastar Graphite PEA for South Star Battery Metals Corp and feasibility studies for significant mining initiatives including the Blackwater Gold project and Lumwana Copper project. Prior to this role, Olav held positions at Worley as Process Engineering and Study Manager, overseeing feasibility studies for copper and iron ore processing, and at Allnorth Consultants Limited as Principal Process Engineer, focusing on energy efficiency and mineral processing designs. Olav's experience also includes directorial roles at HMR Technology Canada and Hatch, emphasizing business development in the Americas and technical consultancy in mineral processing. Olav’s educational background includes a Master in Applied Science in Mining from The University of British Columbia.
