Ariel Smith

Ariel Smith is an Environmental Health Safety Engineer at Lydech since October 2023. Prior to that, Ariel was a Lab Supervisor - Analytical Chemist at 22nd Century Group, Inc. from August 2021 to October 2023. Ariel also worked as a Chemical Technician at Progress Rail, A Caterpillar Company from September 2019 to April 2021. Ariel's research experience includes being a Research Chemist at Winston-Salem State University from August 2017 to December 2020, where Ariel conducted studies on bonding effects of phytochelatin with heavy metals for phytoremediation. Ariel holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Bachelor of Science in ACS Chemistry from Winston-Salem State University.
