Derek Sackler

Derek Sackler is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of Commercial Analytics at Lydian Energy since October 2025. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Pine Gate Renewables, where Derek held titles such as Director of Structuring & Trading and Director of Strategy & Origination, focusing on power market analytics and utility-scale offtake strategies. Derek also contributed to NextEra Energy Resources as a Project Manager in M&A, specializing in distributed generation. Prior experience at PA Consulting Group involved serving as an Energy Markets Consultant, providing market advisory for significant energy infrastructure M&A, financial modeling, and trading support. Early in the career, Derek worked as a Real Time Energy Trader at Entegra Power Group.
