Zach Modest

Zach Modest is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electro-mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Lydian since April 2023, Zach previously held the position of Principal Electro-Mechanical Engineer at Ambri for over a decade, where responsibilities included designing high-temperature systems, managing cell fabrication processes, and mentoring junior engineers. Zach's background also includes roles as a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer and Electro-Mechanical Engineer at Ambri, as well as experience as a Mechanical Engineer at DCI Engineering Services and various engineering cooperatives at Joule Unlimited, QinetiQ North America, and Protonex. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, complemented by a strong foundation in design and prototyping, project management, and technical innovation.
