Edwin Webb has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Edwin started their career at Baxter Healthcare in 1991 as a Research Associate, where they worked until 1997. From 1999 to 2000, they served as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University. Edwin then joined Pathway Diagnostics as a Research and Development Technician in 2006, where they developed and validated immunoassays for clinical testing. After that, they worked at Quest Diagnostics Clinical Trials from 2006 to 2011 as a Senior Test Development Scientist, focusing on developing HIV and HCV sequencing methods. Edwin then moved to Covance as a Staff Scientist from 2011 to 2014, where they worked on various genotyping and gene expression assays. Following this, Edwin worked at LabCorp Clinical Trials from 2014 to 2015 as a Researcher, specializing in genotyping, gene expression assays, and Sanger sequencing methods. Edwin joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2015 as an Associate Scientist, where they developed and qualified qPCR methods for use in CAR-T cell preparations. In 2020, Edwin joined PATH as a Scientific Lab Associate and worked there until the end of 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Scientist II at Lyell Immunopharma.
Edwin Webb earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in biology from Rochester Institute of Technology. Edwin attended the university from 1987 to 1991.
