Grant Vavra

Grant Vavra has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Grant is currently working as a Research Associate II - Process Development at Lyell Immunopharma since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bristol Myers Squibb where they held the positions of Senior Research Associate - Throughput, Efficiency and Development from May 2020 to July 2022, and Research Associate - Clinical Product Characterization from June 2019 to May 2020. Before joining Bristol Myers Squibb, Grant worked at Bloodworks Northwest in various roles including Cell Technologist III (Lead) from January 2019 to June 2019, Cell Technologist II from July 2018 to January 2019, and Cell Technologist I from August 2017 to July 2018. In their role as Cell Technologist I, Grant was responsible for tasks such as accessioning 3rd party kits, separating nucleated red blood cells, and processing umbilical cord tissue for cryogenic storage using biosafety cabinets and sterile technique.

Grant Vavra studied at Northern Arizona University from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, specifically in the field of General Biology.
