Hadeel Ismail

Protein Scientist at Iksuda Therapeutics

Hadeel Ismail has worked at four different companies since 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Newcastle University, where they investigated the role of de novo mutations in male infertility. In 2019, they were a Molecular Biologist at Novogene, where they processed hundreds of DNA/RNA samples per week for whole genome sequencing and operated the biomek i5 automated workstation for library preparation. In 2020, they were a Research Associate at Agenus. Currently, they are a Protein Scientist at Iksuda Therapeutics, where they are creating next-generation, class leading Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs). Hadeel is focused on providing more effective treatments for patients who have few options, with a particular focus on solid tumours such as lung, ovarian, cervix, pancreatic and colorectal.

Hadeel Ismail completed a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics from University College Cork in 2016 and a Master's Degree in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine from UCL in 2017.
