Shobha Potluri

Shobha Potluri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Shobha is currently working at Lyell Immunopharma as the Vice President of Bioinformatics since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director of Computational Biology at Lyell Immunopharma from March 2019 to October 2022. Before joining Lyell Immunopharma, Shobha worked at Pfizer. Their roles at Pfizer include Senior Director of Computational Biology from November 2018 to February 2019, Associate Research Fellow from December 2015 to October 2018, Sr. Principal Scientist from December 2012 to December 2015, Principal Scientist from October 2010 to December 2012, Sr. Scientist from April 2008 to October 2010, and Post Doc from April 2007 to March 2008. Prior to their tenure at Pfizer, Shobha worked as a Research Assistant at Dartmouth College from July 2004 to March 2007, and as a Research Assistant at Purdue University from August 2001 to June 2004.

Shobha Potluri obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering between 1997 and 2001. Shobha then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University from 2001 to 2003. Shobha continued their education and earned a PhD in Computer Science from Dartmouth College between 2004 and 2007.
