Lisa Blackwood-Kapral is the current VP and Chief Accounting Officer at Lyft. Prior to their current position, Lisa served as the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at Shutterfly, Inc. from November 2013 to July 2019. During their time at Shutterfly, Lisa was responsible for leading the finance team of 90+ employees which encompassed SEC External Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, Accounting Operations including Consolidations, Inventory and Cost Accounting and Payroll, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and SOX. Lisa was also in charge of overseeing the earnings process for quarterly conference calls and leading financial due diligence for acquisitions, including acquisition assessments of integration challenges and accounting policy considerations.

Lisa Blackwood-Kapral started their educational career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. Lisa then went on to earn a Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Minnesota Duluth. After working in the accounting field for a number of years, they decided to further their education by earning a certification from Financial Executives International (FEI) in FEI Silicon Valley CFO Readiness Acedemy III. Lisa also earned a certification from the California Board of Accountancy in CPA.
