Shervin Beygi

Shervin Beygi, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in data science and operations research with extensive experience in leading analytical and systems improvement projects across various sectors. Currently serving as a Data Science Manager at Lyft since January 2025, Shervin previously held the position of Principal Data Scientist at Redfin from March 2022 to February 2025, and worked as an Associate Technical Fellow and Data Scientist at Boeing from May 2016 to March 2022. Academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and holding a Director of Systems Redesign role at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where Shervin led teams on medical center improvement initiatives. Additional experience includes senior and lead positions at Metron Aviation and the University of Michigan, where Shervin engaged in advanced research projects and collaboration with veterans’ healthcare. Shervin Beygi obtained a Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
