Tara Stewart

Tara Stewart is an accomplished Chief of Staff with extensive experience in leadership and program management across notable organizations. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at Lyft since November 2019, Tara oversees key initiatives in Rider Product, Rider Partnerships, Community Safety, and Central Design. Prior to this role, Tara held positions at Lyft that involved managing various design-related teams and spearheading People Team projects during significant events like the COVID lockdown. At Facebook, Tara served as a Staff Program Manager, significantly expanding the software engineering workforce while collaborating with executives to optimize workforce planning. Additionally, Tara contributed as an Analyst in Risk & Payments, developing fraud prevention models that successfully mitigated millions in fraudulent transactions. Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English from Washington and Lee University.
