Dr Matthew J Muir

Dr Matthew J Muir has a long history of work experience in the veterinary sector. In 2010, they began working as a Veterinarian for Charles Sturt University. Dr Matthew J then moved to Blus Plus Animal Hospitals as a Veterinary Surgeon in the same year. In 2012, they were employed as a Veterinary Surgeon for Village Vet, followed by Animal Medical Centre London as a Veterinary Surgeon and Clinical Coach in 2014. In 2015, they became the Senior Veterinary Surgeon and Marketing Manager for Griffith Animal Hospital. That same year, they also started working as the Director, Veterinarian and Ecohealth Consultant for Achieve Animal Wellness, where they expanded the portfolio of ethical products and services, performed consultations online, managed innovative social responsibility projects, designed products, and facilitated brand collaborations and networks. In 2016, they joined All Natural Vet Care as an Integrative Veterinary Surgeon and Director. In 2017, they became the Founder of Planet Decent and Operations Manager for Integrative Veterinary Services. Most recently in 2018, they were appointed as the Co-Founder (Head of Product) for Lyka Pet Food, where they have the opportunity to propel the animal health sector forward using innovative nutritional science and sustainable ingredients.

Dr Matthew J Muir has an extensive education history. Dr Matthew J began their studies in 2003 at Saint Gregory's College, and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Veterinary Science/Veterinary Biology at Charles Sturt University from 2005 to 2010. In 2015, they completed a Sustainable Food Production Through Livestock Health Management course at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, they have obtained a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) from the Royal Veterinary College.
