Paulwyn Devasundaram

Paulwyn Devasundaram is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Lyka since August 2024 and as the Founder & CEO of Medoo since February 2022, where the focus is on encouraging self-analysis and insight for intentional living. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Software Engineer at CarbonHQ, and as Software Architect & Product Manager at Tiliter, where Paulwyn played a key role in launching an innovative in-store detection and analysis product for a major supermarket chain. Notably, during the tenure at Canva from 2017 to 2021, including positions as Director of Engineering & General Manager and Group Engineering Lead, Paulwyn experienced significant company growth while leading various cross-functional teams. Work history also includes engineering positions at Atlassian and ABB Enterprise Software, along with research experience at The University of Queensland. Paulwyn holds a Master of Computer Science degree from The University of Queensland, earned between 2011 and 2013.
