Aura Vuorela

Aura Vuorela has a diverse work experience in various communications, marketing, and PR roles. Aura is currently working as a Marketing Project Lead at LYKO since October 2023. Previously, they worked as a PR & Communications Manager at LUMENE Oy from December 2021 to March 2023. Before that, they were a Communications Planner at Helsingin kaupunki – Helsingfors stad – City of Helsinki from October 2020 to December 2021. Aura also had an extensive tenure at Miltton, where they held roles such as Junior Communications Consultant, Client Executive, and Marketing & PR Associate from 2017 to 2020. Aura also gained experience as a Press Assistant at Flow Festival Oy (Ltd) and worked in different roles at the University of Jyväskylä and Erasmus Student Network.

Aura Vuorela completed their undergraduate studies at Cygnaeus lukio from 2007 to 2010. Aura then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Systems Science at the University of Jyväskylä from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they continued their studies at the University of Jyväskylä and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication, Business Studies, and French language. Aura participated in two Erasmus exchanges during their studies, one at IHECS in 2014, where they studied Journalism, PR, and French, and the other at Université Bordeaux Montaigne in 2017, where they focused on Communication and Art History. In 2015, they enrolled in the University of Jyväskylä again and completed their Master of Arts degree in Speech Communication from 2015 to 2017.
