Maegan Crews Fallen currently serves as the Director of the Office of College and Career Success at Lynchburg Beacon of Hope, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Maegan was the Director of the Career Development Center at Randolph College from September 2015 to November 2023, where responsibilities included advising students on internships, developing career-related information sessions, and connecting with businesses to enhance internship opportunities. Previous positions held include Constituent Services Representative for Congressman Robert Hurt in the U.S. House of Representatives, and an intern for both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Virginia General Assembly. Maegan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a focus on Environmental Policy from William & Mary, earned in 2012.

Lynchburg Beacon of Hope is an organization whose goal is to connect students with the tools and resources to succeed in school and in life! Our focus is to increase economic development in the region by increasing opportunities for awareness, achievement, access, and affordability. Beacon of Hope has Future Centers embedded into Lynchburg City Schools through a local private-public partnership and also offers FREE community college through promise scholarships. Beacon of Hope has raised over $6 million to date to provide Stay Close, Go Far Promise Scholarships and Commonwealth Scholarships for LCS graduates. If you'd like to get involved, just reach out!
