Greer O. Trainham

Greer O. Trainham, DMSc, MPAM, PA-C, currently serves as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Centra Health since July 2023, while also working as an Acute Care PA-C at Pulmonary Associates of Southside Virginia Inc. Greer provides comprehensive patient care in hospital settings, managing admissions, consultations, and discharges for critically ill patients. Additionally, Greer contributes to the educational development of PA students as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Lynchburg School of PA Medicine. Greer was awarded the Doctor of Medical Science Educational Leadership Annual Student Award in 2023 and has extensive clinical experience across multiple specialties during PA training at the University of Lynchburg. Prior positions include Medical Assistant at the Women's Health and Surgery Center and Scribe at Fredericksburg Emergency Medical Alliance. Greer holds degrees in Doctor of Medical Science and Master of PA Medicine from the University of Lynchburg, and a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech.
