Kenneth Gavin

Kenneth Gavin has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Police Detective and Intelligence Officer at the Lynchburg Police Department since July 2013, focusing on criminal intelligence collection and analysis. Prior to this role, Kenneth was a Task Force Officer with the FBI from January 2009 to July 2013, engaging in complex conspiracy investigations related to violent criminal gangs. Kenneth's career also includes significant tenure at the Portsmouth Police Department from June 1990 to July 2013, where investigations into racketeering influenced their work against street gangs. Additionally, Kenneth has experience as a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration, conducting major narcotics investigations, and served as a Drill Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve and as a Specialist in the US Army. Kenneth holds a high school diploma from John F. Kennedy High School, earned between 1995 and 1996.
