Bob Leamon

Lead Space Weather Scientist

Bob Leamon is an innovative and multi-disciplinary Space- and Climate Scientist with extensive experience in academic, government, and laboratory environments. They currently serve as the Lead Space Weather Scientist at Lynker and work as a researcher at the Heliospheric Physics Laboratory at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, focusing on solar variability and its impacts on technology and climate. Previously, they were a program officer at NASA HQ and a Principal Support Scientist at NASA Goddard. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Imperial College London and a PhD in Physics from the University of Delaware. Notably, their early research produced a seminal paper on magnetic fields in the solar wind, which remains highly cited in the field.
