Deanna Spindler

Deanna Spindler is a Support Scientist III at Lynker, where responsibilities include the development of hazard warning polygons over the ocean and contributions to the wave component of the EVS validation package for NCEP's operational models. Previously, Deanna worked as a Support Scientist II at IM Systems Group, serving as the Marine Verification Lead, focusing on visualization, validation, and graphic support for operational ocean models. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Oceanographer at SAIC, where Deanna managed operational data processing for the Ocean Forecast System, and as a Post-Doc Researcher at the University of Miami, producing research papers and analyzing databases. Deanna's academic background includes a PhD in Physical Oceanography from the University of Miami, a Master's in Physics from The Catholic University of America, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Loyola University Maryland.
