Jessica Magolan

Jessica Magolan is a Geospatial Analyst and Remote Sensing Specialist, currently a contractor for NOAA OCM at Lynker since February 2024, focusing on classifying water features and resampling landcover data with advanced remote sensing techniques. Previously, Jessica served as a Coastal Geospatial Research Specialist at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, where duties included analyzing land cover trends, modeling shoreline positions, and mapping historical changes. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Geoscience from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Applied Geospatial Technologies from Elmhurst University. Jessica's extensive experience encompasses the application of various GIS and remote sensing tools, as well as conducting research and teaching within academic environments.
