Jim Ashburn

Jim Ashburn has over three decades of experience in the scientific field, currently serving as Senior Staff Scientist at Lynx Support Specialist Inc. since March 2011. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Chief Scientist at QinetiQ North America / Westar Aerospace / ELMCO, Inc. from May 1999 to March 2011, and was a Fellow at Nichols Research Corporation from July 1990 to May 1999. Educational background includes a BS and PhD in Physics from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where Jim also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from 1986 to 1990, after graduating from Huntsville High School in 1982.
