Carlos Santa Cruz

Carlos Santa Cruz is the Chief Technology Officer at Lynx Tech since January 2023. Prior to this role, Carlos served as a Director of the Banking Analytics Group at Instituto de Ingeniería del Conocimiento - UAM. Carlos also holds the position of Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Carlos has a Ph.D. in Physics from UAM and additional master's degrees in Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism and Business Innovation. Carlos has a strong background in machine learning and has applied their expertise to fraud detection in payment systems, including overseeing the development of the Lynx fraud detection tool.
