Beshoy Abdelmalek

Beshoy Abdelmalek is a Senior Olefins Process & Production Engineer at LyondellBasell since February 2022, previously holding roles at ExxonMobil from June 2013 to February 2022, including Senior Global Olefins Process Engineer and Olefins Manufacturing Team Lead. With extensive experience in providing operational support at steam cracking sites, Beshoy has excelled in conducting risk assessments, managing HAZOPs, and optimizing processes while mentoring early-career engineers. Beshoy led initiatives on waste plastic recycling strategies and supervised analytical laboratories and pilot units to enhance production processes. Notably, Beshoy contributed to the successful rollout of new technologies in EMCC, achieving a notable adoption rate. Beshoy holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
