Jim Seward

Jim Seward is executive vice president and chief innovation officer for LyondellBasell, one of the world’s largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies. In this role, Seward is responsible for the Technology segment as well as the Research and Development, Digital, Cyber Security and IT functions. Seward’s career spans more than 30 years with the company, holding a variety of positions including leading the International Olefins and Polyolefins business and Sustainability.

Seward holds a Master of Science degree in chemistry from Bristol University and a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield University, both located in the United Kingdom.
