Matthew Hayes

Matthew Hayes, ACA has a strong work experience background, starting their career as a Staff Auditor at Griffith & Miles in 1996. Matthew then worked as an Audit Senior at Mazars, where they oversaw and executed various audits and special projects across different industries. In 2001, they became a Supervisor of Internal Audit at Halliburton, leading operational and financial audits. Later on, Hayes held managerial positions at LyondellBasell, including Manager of Internal Controls and Manager of Global Capital Accounting. Matthew progressed to become the Director of Financial Reporting and Director of Accounting, responsible for global operational and close accounting functions. Finally, they served as the Chief Internal Auditor and currently holds the role of VP of Corporate FP&A at LyondellBasell.

Matthew Hayes, ACA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, Accounting & Finance from Aberystwyth University in 1996. Matthew also holds a certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) as an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), which was obtained in 1999.
