Blake Loudermilk

EVP at LyonJay

A proud native and lifelong resident of Spartanburg County, Blake Loudermilk adds technical expertise in development planning to the team at LyonJay. With 15 years of experience, he is a proactive thinker and his experience will help anticipate design challenges and visualize potential constructability issues.

As a civil engineer, Blake has provided leadership to integral projects that have improved the overall quality of life in his hometown and many other communities. His diverse portfolio of projects range from single family residential, commercial land development, to transportation planning and active transportation design. Throughout his career, Blake’s mindset has been shaped by excellent project management and best design practices. His experience has taken him throughout the Southeast with proven relationships in many of these different markets.

Additionally, Blake finds ways to marry his professional skills and community outreach through volunteer trail planning for Partners for Active Living, serving on the City of Spartanburg’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee, and lastly, as a former President of the Spartanburg Chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers. In 2020, Blake was named to the Spartanburg Herald Journal’s Top 40 under 40.
