Geinel Johnson

Geinel Johnson, LMFT, currently serves as a Psychiatric Consultant in the Emergency Department at Kaiser Permanente since July 2023 and has held various roles at Lyra Health since February 2021, including Clinical Recruiter and Clinical Care Navigator, managing crisis situations and overseeing a complex client caseload across the United States. In private practice at Honestly Speaking Therapeutic Services since June 2022, Geinel specializes in therapeutic interventions for BIPOC transitional aged youth, young adults, and professionals, addressing issues such as trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Previous experience includes serving as the Transitional Aged Youth Program Coordinator and Mental Health Specialist at Stars Behavioral Health Group, a Crisis Counselor for the Community Integrated Work Program, and a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at the Center for Healthy Schools and Communities. Geinel's educational background includes a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's in Sociology from the University of Southern California.
