Katherine Shakman

Katherine Shakman serves as a Senior Data Scientist in Clinical Research at Lyra Health since February 2023. Previously, Katherine held the position of Senior Health Data Scientist at Evidation Health from August 2021 to December 2022, where contributions included designing study frameworks and developing complex statistical analysis plans. Katherine also worked at Domino Data Lab from October 2018 to August 2021 as a Field Data Scientist, collaborating closely with customers on data science projects, and previously served as a Field Engineer. Early career experiences include roles as a Technical Support Engineer at Insight Data Science, a Health Data Science Fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and various research positions at Caltech and The University of Chicago. Katherine earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Columbia University and completed a Data Science Bootcamp at Collaboratory@Columbia University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Caltech.
