Leta Mumgaard

Leta Mumgaard is an experienced arts management professional currently serving as the Manager of the Board of Directors at the Lyric Opera of Chicago since May 2023. Prior to this role, Leta held the position of Manager of Donor Relations at the Atlantic Theater Company, where responsibilities included the oversight of the Patron Program and Special Events. At Guild Hall of East Hampton, Leta managed Membership and Special Events, enhancing member engagement and implementing successful programs. Previous roles also include Development Associate at Bay Street Theatre, where fundraising initiatives were executed, and various positions in communications and development across multiple arts organizations. Leta obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management from Purchase College, SUNY, and has engaged in significant internships that contributed to a strong foundation in arts development and administration.
