Jean-vicente De Carvalho has held various roles in the tech industry since 2018. In 2018, they were a Software Developer at Deep Learning Indaba, where they collaborated with developers from Entellect, RetroRabbit and Google Deepmind on building Baobab, the Deep Learning Indaba's official applications and management portal. Jean-vicente also worked as a Software Developer at Sybrin from February 2018 to April 2019, where they were part of the innovations team and instrumental in developing a corporate banking system. In 2019, they became Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Lytehouse, Founder in Residence (EFSG6) at Entrepreneur first, and Global Accelerator Programme Fellow at Ingenious Faces.
Jean-vicente De Carvalho obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2021. Jean-vicente previously obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Pearson Institute of Higher Education in 2017. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from Coursera in 2017: Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
