Gregory Burdorf

Gregory Burdorf currently serves as the VP of Quality, Cell Engineering and Program Management at Lyten since April 2023. Previously, Burdorf held the position of Sr. Director of Program Management R&D at QuantumScape from November 2021 to March 2023. In that role, significant achievements included interfacing with engineering teams and vendors to develop tooling, driving technology development processes, and managing project schedules and budgets. Prior experience includes various roles at Apple as a Manufacturing Design Program Manager, and a lengthy tenure at Spectrum Brands, where responsibilities encompassed managing technical qualification programs for battery products, leading high-visibility capital projects, and overseeing the engineering department for alkaline battery production. Burdorf’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, alongside a BS in Wildlife Biology and an AAS in Science Laboratory Technology.
