Karoliina Salminen

Karoliina Salminen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Karoliina began their career at Keskuspaperi Oy as an Office and Warehouse Worker, where they gained experience in logistics, inventory management, and order management. Karoliina then moved on to UPM Raflatac as a Product Systems Assistant, where they managed product systems for factories across Europe.

Salminen joined Suunto in 2016 and held multiple positions. As a Junior Product Manager, Diving, they were responsible for product lifecycle management, concepting new products, and managing product development and ramp-down projects. Karoliina also conducted consumer research and engaged in external field testing. Additionally, they supported internal and external stakeholders, including the contact center and the review of marketing materials.

Salminen then joined Amer Sports Corporation as a Junior Product Manager, Emerging Businesses, before returning to Suunto as a Product Manager. In their role as a Product Manager, they were responsible for the Suunto digital sport services, including the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of services. Karoliina also managed the Suunto mobile applications and Suuntolink computer software.

Salminen's most recent position is at M-Files as a Product Owner, where they are currently employed. Overall, they have shown strong skills in product management, project management, consumer understanding, and stakeholder support throughout their work experience.

Karoliina Salminen pursued their education at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Industrial Engineering & Management. Although the start year is not specified, they completed their studies there in 2020. Prior to that, they attended Munkkiniemen Yhteiskoulun lukio from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained their high school degree. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance in April 2023.
