Risto Kero

Risto Kero has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Risto began their career at ABB in 1995, where they worked as a Software Engineer, Team Lead, and Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for software development, project management, leading a team, and providing sales, delivery, and customer support for substation automation products.

In 2002, Risto joined Patria as a Product Assurance Manager. After that, they moved to Tieto in 2004, assuming the role of Head of Operational Development. Over the years, they held various positions at Tieto, including Director, Head of Capability Development, Product Development Coach, Lead Process Manager, and Manager of the Project Management Office. In these roles, they focused on developing and deploying delivery processes, improving project management capabilities, and managing the Project Management Office.

Most recently, Risto is employed at M-Files since 2017. Risto has held several positions within the company, including Subcontracting Manager, Head of Customer Success Operations, Director of Customer Success Operations, and currently serves as the Director of Commercial Operations, Services.

Risto Kero pursued their education between 1988 and 1994 at Tampere University of Technology. During this period, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering. Apart from their formal education, Risto also earned the certification of Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
