Drew Newman

Drew Newman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in internal audit and accounting. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Internal Audit at M Financial Group since April 2024, Drew has previously held multiple roles at Symetra from October 2018 to March 2024, including Assistant Vice President, Director, and Assistant Director. Early career experience includes a position as a Certified Public Accountant at Newman & Jones, Inc. from September 2005 to May 2012, and an Accounting Assistant/Intern role at Jack E. Gatto, CPA from January 2003 to December 2005. Drew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from American InterContinental University and a degree in Business Administration from San Joaquin Delta College.
