Dr. Marisha G. Agana has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. Marisha G. began their career in 2000 as a Pediatrician at St. Joseph Medical Center, Trumbull Regional Medical Center, and Pediatric Corporation of Warren, Inc. In 2001, they became a Clinical Associate Professor at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2006, they moved to Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) as a Clinical Assistant Professor. In 2017, they were appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed as Chief Medical Officer and Pediatrician at Muskegon Family Care.

Marisha G. Agana, MD, MPH began their education in 1984 when they obtained a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of the East. Marisha G. then completed a residency at Rush University Children's Hospital from 1989 to 1993. During this time, they also obtained a Doctor of Medicine certification from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1993. Marisha G. then obtained Doctor of Medicine certifications from the State of Illinois in 1992, the State of Ohio in 1999, and the State of West Virginia in 2000. From 1993 to 1994, they completed a fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Division of General Academic Pediatrics. From 1994 to 1995, they completed a fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Division of Hematology & Oncology. Finally, they obtained a Masters in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health from 1994 to 1996. In 2017, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine certification from the State of Michigan.
