Carolyn Copenhaver is a Landscape Designer currently employed at MJ Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C. since May 2023, with previous experience as a Landscape Designer at CLA SITE Landscape Architecture, Engineering & Planning, P.C. from June 2022 to May 2023. Carolyn has also served as a Graduate Assistant at the Center for Cultural Landscape Preservation at SUNY ESF from August 2020 to June 2022. Prior to transitioning into landscape architecture, Carolyn held roles within the United States Department of Defense as an Instructor for Cable and Antenna Systems from June 2013 to June 2015, and as an RF Transmission Systems Technician in the USAF from December 2009 to December 2013. Educationally, Carolyn earned a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (2019-2022), a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland Global Campus (2010-2015), and an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Systems from the Community College of the Air Force (2010-2011).
