Kolawole Benard Makinde has a diverse work experience in the field of logistics and warehouse management. Kolawole Benard started their career in 2011 as a Warehouse Officer at Agro Traders Limited, where they were responsible for coordinating with field supervisors, conducting quality tests, and ensuring proper storage. Kolawole Benard then moved on to Watanmal Group as a Warehouse/Outbound Logistics Officer, where they coordinated with billing offices, managed Pan Nigeria distribution, and tracked fleet and dispatch records. Kolawole also worked at Canvestgroup Nigeria Limited as a Warehouse Officer, Daroc Distribution Nigeria Limited as a Logistics Manager, and Hello Products as a Logistics and Procurement Supervisor, where they handled various responsibilities related to inventory management, procurement, and logistics operations. Currently, they are employed at M-KOPA as a Senior Lead in Warehouse and Logistics, overseeing quality control, order processing, and implementing inventory tracking systems. Kolawole Benard also served as a Team Lead in Logistics Operations at M-KOPA, managing all logistics activities and 3PL service providers. Throughout their career, Kolawole has demonstrated a strong focus on process optimization, cost reduction, and improving overall efficiency in supply chain management.

Starting in 2009, Makinde pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA Professional) in Production Management at Obafemi Awolowo University, completing the program in 2011. In 2008, they became a Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, specializing in General Management.
Makinde's educational journey began at the Federal University of Technology Akure, where they obtained a B.TECH degree in Microbiology (Food and Industrial Microbiology) in 2006.
