Ben McKinstry

Ben McKinstry is the Divisional VP of Wind and Renewables at ML Crane. He has over 22 years of experience in the crane, heavy lift, and transportation industries. Ben started his career in the crane industry as an operator in Colorado operating a boom truck setting trusses.

Over the years he has worked his way up in the field operating larger cranes, and later moving into a supervisor position. He then transitioned into sales and senior leadership roles. Prior to joining the ML Crane team, Ben held various high level roles in his previous organization. Ben’s passion for the energy sectors with renewables, oil and gas led him to the ML Crane team and his current position.

Ben resides in Denver and enjoys spending time outside, mountain biking, hiking, snowmobiling and spending time with his family.
