Chief Technology Officer at M Science

Ben Tallman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Ben is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for M Science, a role they began in December 2019. Prior to this, from February 2019 to December 2019, they were the Head of Data Engineering and Infrastructure at M Science.

Before joining M Science, Ben worked as a Strategic Business and Technology Consultant for their own self-employed venture from July 2018 to January 2019.

From January 2018 to July 2018, Ben was the Senior Director of Global IT at FinancialForce, where they played a key role in upgrading the department and aligning systems for a public offering.

From August 2013 to December 2017, Ben worked at Google as a Senior Technology Solutions Consultant. During their time at Google, they tightened the systems at Apigee in preparation for a public offering, resulting in the eventual acquisition by Google. Ben also led efforts to improve business performance and achieved a significant reduction in cloud expenses.

Prior to their time at Google, Ben served as a Practice Director at Sparta Consulting, a KPIT Cummins Company, from January 2013 to September 2013.

Before that, from January 2010 to December 2012, Ben was the President, CTO, and co-founder of WaveQ, Inc. Ben oversaw business operations, technical sales, and engagement delivery, achieving significant growth through acquisitions and transitioning to a Microsoft Managed Partner.

Ben began their career as a Consultant at General Consulting in January 1993 and continued in that role until January 2010.

Ben also served as the Director of Technology and Operations at Travel Command, Inc. from January 2007 to April 2008, where they were responsible for heading the technology and operations for a travel agency and government contractor.

Additionally, Ben held the position of Vice President of Information Technology at Columbia Distributing Company from February 2006 to December 2006. Ben restructured the IT departments and implemented cost-saving measures.

Lastly, from December 2003 to February 2006, Ben worked as a Practice Manager at Rapidigm, where they managed technical sales and delivery to clients and designed service offerings leveraging global delivery models.

Ben Tallman attended Seaside High School from 1987 to 1991. Following that, from 1991 to 1992, they attended Linfield University, where they studied Physics and Math. However, it is not specified whether they obtained a degree.
