Tarusha Ray Silva, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Tarusha Ray began their career as a Trainee Accountant at AccNet Solutions Pvt Ltd, where they created financial statements for small-scale clients and prepared bank reconciliation statements and tax returns.

Later, Tarusha joined Acuity Knowledge Partners, where they held multiple roles. As an Analyst in Equity Research, they prepared investment research notes for wealth managers in the Indian capital markets. Tarusha Ray then progressed to the role of Associate, where they authored concise investment research notes for a South and East Asia-focused wealth management operation. In their Senior Associate role, Tarusha developed and updated models for equities in the automotive and related sectors. Finally, they became a Delivery Lead, overseeing investment research analysts and formulating theses on firms undergoing structural change.

Currently, Tarusha is an Equity Research Associate at M Science, where they work with a Senior Analyst and another Associate to develop research reports. Tarusha Ray uses alternative data, such as clickstream data and credit card spending data, to track and forecast key performance indicators for the tickers under their coverage.

Tarusha Ray Silva, CFA, has an extensive education history. In 2012, Tarusha began their studies at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, where they earned an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting. From 2014 to 2017, Tarusha attended the University of Wollongong, where they pursued a Bachelor of Economics and Finance with a double major in Economics and Finance. They furthered their education at Columbia University in 2021 and 2022, obtaining a Master of Science in Operations Research with a concentration in Analytics.

In addition to their formal education, Tarusha has also obtained additional certifications. In 2020, they received an edX Verified Certificate for Analyzing Data with Python from edX. They also hold the prestigious title of Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, which was granted by the CFA Institute in November 2020.
