Stuart Malcolm has worked in the legal industry since 1997. Stuart began their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Brodies LLP before becoming an Associate Counsel at Celoxica Limited in 2000. In 2002, they moved to Manches LLP as a Senior Solicitor and then to BrookStreet des Roches LLP as an Associate Solicitor in 2004. In 2006, they became Group Legal Adviser at Oxford University Press. In 2009, they founded Stuart Malcolm LLP and served as Partner until 2011 when it merged with MBM Commercial LLP. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Partner at Shoosmiths, providing advice to clients within the United Kingdom's science, technology and innovation sectors and knowledge-based and creative economies. Stuart then joined M Squared as Executive Chairman & Group General Counsel and General Counsel, Board Director & Company Secretary in 2016.
Stuart Malcolm obtained a DipLP from the University of Glasgow in 1997 and an LLB (Hons) in Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow in 1996.
