Collin Musonye

Collin Musonye has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Collin is currently the Director of Software Engineering at CarePay, where they started in May 2021. Prior to that, they were a Technical Lead at CarePay from June 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining CarePay, Collin held various roles at JUMO.WORLD starting in 2016. Collin was a Technical Lead from July 2019 to May 2020, a Solutions Architect from April 2018 to June 2019, and a Senior Software Engineer from June 2016 to April 2018.

Collin also worked at M-KOPA Kenya Ltd, where they served as a Lead Software Developer from January 2015 to May 2016. Collin led a small engineering team, designed and implemented technical solutions, and provided support for system issues.

Additionally, Collin worked as a Software Developer at Mobile Ventures Kenya Ltd from November 2010 to September 2011, and as a Software Engineer Intern at Knowing Limited from April 2010 to August 2010.

Collin Musonye attended Moi Forces Academy Nairobi from 2002 to 2005 where they obtained their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Collin then went on to study at Kenyatta University from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering.
