Amaru Bustamante

Amaru Bustamante has extensive experience in the retail industry. Amaru began their career in 1993 as an Assistant Department Manager, Housewares at Urban Outfitters. Amaru then moved on to Diesel in 1996, where they were the Retail Systems Manager. In 1998, they joined Dolce & Gabbana as the Senior Manager, Information Systems. In 2001, they began working at Prada as the Director of Retail Operations and at M.X. Data, Inc. as the Chief Operations Officer. In 2013, they became the Chairperson and President of Bogota Beautiful, Inc. and in 2020 they were appointed Co-Chairperson of Bogota Creative Team.

Amaru Bustamante began their educational journey in 1989, when they attended Fiorello H. Laguardia H.S. of Music and Art, studying Fine/Studio Arts, General. Amaru then attended Berkeley College from 1994 to 1996, studying Office Systems and Management. In 2006, they attended Queens College, studying Computer Science. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Landmark, studying Ontology.
