Desmond Rice

Desmond Rice is currently the Head of Communications & PR at M12. Desmond has over eight years of experience in Communications, with a focus on strategy, messaging, and media relations.

Most recently, Desmond served as the Communications Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where they led the design and implementation of communications strategies for the Bank's Financial Institution Supervision and Credit division. Desmond has also worked as a Communications Lead at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where they managed and executed a wide range of communications activities and campaigns for the Mission Systems sector’s Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions division and the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) division.

Desmond has a proven track record in developing and executing effective communications plans that support organizational goals and objectives. Desmond is a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and develop creative solutions to complex problems. Desmond is a strong writer and an excellent communicator, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Desmond Rice has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's of Journalism and MBA in Marketing from University of North Texas, and a certification from the Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Professionals Association (SOXCPA) in Certified Sarbanes Oxley Expert (CSOE). Desmond also participated in the Washington Semester Program - Journalism at American University.

Desmond Rice reports to Mony Hassid, Managing Director. They are on a team with Irad Dor - Partner, Ilana Berger - Business Manager, and Priyanka Mitra - Principal.
