Steven Brown is the Head of Imaging at M3D since 2023 and has been a Nuclear Imaging Scientist at H3D, Inc. since March 2017, contributing to the development of advanced gamma cameras for various sectors including the nuclear industry and defense, with research supported by the US DOE and DOD. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Fellow at the National Science Foundation from 2011 to 2017 during PhD studies at the University of Michigan, and technical internships at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory focused on gamma camera projects. Educational credentials include a PhD and two MSE degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as a BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida.
