Paolo Moscattini has had a long and varied career in the IT industry. Paolo began their career in 1991 as an Analyst Programmer at BP Research. In 1993, they moved to J.P. Morgan as a Senior Systems Analyst. In 1995, they worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer at Barclays Life Assurance Company. In 1998, they became the Strategic IT Manager at Close Wealth Management. In 2001, they returned to CLS Group as the Head of ETL Development. In 2018, they worked as an IT Consultant at Allianz Global Investors. In 2019, they returned to CLS Group as an IT Specialist Consultant. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Data Engineer at m³ter.

Paolo Moscattini attended the University of East London from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a BSc Hons Computing Information Systems in Computer Science. Paolo then returned to the University of East London from 1990 to 1991 to earn an MSc Distributed Systems in Computers and Networking. Paolo also attended Saint Thomas More, though no degree was obtained. In addition, they hold three certifications: MCAD: Microsoft .NET from Microsoft (2007), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft (2006), and MicroStrategy Certified Engineer from MicroStrategy (2004).
